Honda FL5 prep for track , did a full PPF for his championship white sports sedan.
For this project we used the AX 7.5mil PPF.
Alot of parts was removed for the PPF for proper installation, such as door handles, side mirrors, GT wing as well as bonnet CF parts. On top of the PPF client also request for tinting to be done while he was overseas as well.
We completed the job in 4 days , with the first day mainly clay bar and polishing the paint work to ensure that the surface is prep for us to wrap the PPF over it.
The second day was mainly to dismentle the parts and tape it up to prevent dust from going in and then starting on the bigger parts of the car such as the bonnet.
We finished up the car within the next 2 days and sun the PPF, end of the day there’s no such thing as a perfect PPF installer or material all the material will stretch under the heat. Especially parts need the wheel arches and engine areas. Touch up is needed to ensure the PPF is in good condition and this is done FOC for all clients.
